Saving Money on Magazines

Magazines rarely seem worth the $5 price tag to me but every once in a while I see an article I want to read that is too long for the supermarket checkout line. In a back corner of my local used bookstore, I found racks of recent magazines available for $1. I picked up a People magazine for a friend who just had a baby. Then I found a copy of Real Simple that promised to help me save on monthly expenses for a quarter at my library. I don’t think I will ever buy a magazine at the grocery store again. Woohoo!
