The Phone Company Saga Continues
It sounds like good news. The phone company escalation department told husband if he can fax a bill from the state we moved to in 2005, they will remove the charges and therefore the collection account.
Daughter is napping so this will have to wait until tonight.
Phone company help from CreditBoards.com
I wrote here about the phone company charging me for 6 months of service after I moved 2000 miles away. The good people at CreditBoards are helping me get rid of this collection account. If you have questionable collection accounts haunting you, this is the place to go for help.
No, Thank YOU Phone Company
Two years ago, we moved across the country and canceled our landline in our state. We sent the phone company our last payment and moved on with our lives. Fast forward to yesterday – we get a call from a collections agency saying we owe the phone company money. Called them and they are “looking into it”. The phone company says we owe for 5 months when we were 2000 miles away. They had better figure themselves out and remove the charges.
