The Gas Bill is Here!

and I reduced it $40 since last month. That almost cuts the bill in half. After I started receiving $100 gas bills (we have combo gas/electric), I turned the heat down 3 degrees and told everyone to put on sweaters. Husband complained a little so I started making him drink tea to warm up. Daughter runs hot – she doesn’t even like blankets during the night – so she didn’t care.

Normally I would use this $40 on another bill as part of the debt snowball but daughter’s birthday is early next month and the budget is tight with birthday preparations. If there is money left at the end of the month I will put it toward credit cards.
